Boy Meets Girl

"Now here's an interesting pair I came up with... The names are Ash and Ken."

"The world takes place near the future where the world is slowly killing itself. They both attend a school that is still alive even after the cities are still left in ruins. Ash and Ken live in the same abandoned apartment so they look after each other's backs."

"The problem is, Ash is the deceased President's daughter and Ken is from Nonexistence, a special race of species from a dimension where those that are not suppose to exist lies in."

"There is a syndicate that wants to capture Ash to ensure she doesn't know her true origins. Ken is aware of this because he used to work for the syndicate. Considered a traitor, the syndicate wants him dead as well in order to keep information from being leaked."

"I'm making a short story, kind of like a prologue to the story when Ash and Ken go to a christmas festival. After they have their fun, Ken buys Ash a necklace as a gift for Christmas before they went home. On the way, Ken sensed the syndicate on their tail so he tells Ash to go on ahead home and lock the doors. With that out of the way, Ken goes of to face the syndicate. Specializing in swordsmanship, Ken attempts to fend off the syndicate from getting towards Ash, but he was the main target in the first place, thus the syndicate sent all their man after him. Cornered, he is killed. When a nonexistence is dead, all memory of ever meeting them fades away so no one remembers Ken ever again. Ash wonders where the necklace came to be, only to find herself crying over even though she doesn't know why. The syndicate captures her, thus ending the prologue. What happens is to remain silent."
